Bench Memorials
A bench memorial is a granite or marble bench that serves as both a marker and a place to sit. The seat carries the inscription; the legs (or solid end-panels) carry the structural load. We cut bench memorials from solid granite blocks and finish the seat in either a flame or a polished surface so the bench stays usable in any weather. Families often pick a bench when they want a memorial that doubles as a quiet place to sit and reflect.
A bench memorial works well in family plots where there is room between the graves for the bench to sit. We engrave names, dates, scripture, and artwork on the seat or on a separate front panel, and we set the bench on a poured concrete pad so it stays level for decades. Some bench designs can be built with a sealed niche under the seat or in one end to hold cremated remains — tell us if that is the use case and we will quote the bench accordingly.
