Monuments we’ve set across Texas.
Granite, marble, and bronze. Single and companion, upright and flush. Photographed at the cemetery, on the foundation we poured, by the crew that set the stone.

Every monument is custom-designed. Send us the cemetery section and we’ll draw a free design proof.
The same crew that cuts the granite sets the marker at the cemetery.
Our shop sits on the Concho River in San Angelo. We have been cutting, engraving, and setting monuments for Texas families since 2001 — granite, marble, and bronze, with granite the most common because it stands up to Texas heat, freezes, hail, and wind without weathering the lettering.
We do the whole job: design, engraving, the concrete foundation, the truck, the crane, the lifting straps, and the setting compound. Online monument companies cut a stone and ship it in a box. We do the work the box does not.

Learn more about MemorialTagFrequently asked questions.
Do I have to buy a monument from my funeral home or cemetery?
No. A funeral home or cemetery is lawfully unable to force you to purchase a monument from them when arranging other funeral purchases.
What do I need to know when purchasing a cemetery monument?
It depends. Some cemeteries have restrictions on the monuments they accept, so it is a good idea to check with your cemetery first to find out what guidelines you must follow. You must also know how much you can spend; most styles can be adapted to fit any size budget. From here, you can decide on a monument style that expresses the life of you or your loved one. You can choose from a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and materials for your memorial. Texas Lonestar Monuments will be happy to help you further customize your monument with text, engravings, and other decorations.
How can I order a custom cemetery monument?
Yes. Texas Lonestar Monuments will be glad to help you design a completely custom monument to commemorate your life or that of a loved one. We offer a wide variety of styles, shapes, colors, and materials. Please give us a call for a custom quote.
What materials are used in monuments?
It depends. Granite is the most popular monument material we use today because of its ability to withstand extreme climates and temperatures. Other materials include marble and bronze.
What is the expected cost of a monument?
It depends. The cost of monuments is based on many different factors, including size, material, and accessories. For more information about the cost of monuments, please contact us.
I found it cheaper online. Can you match the price?
No. Online monument companies typically charge around 80 percent of the price while doing about 50 percent of the work. They cut a stone and ship it in a box. They do not deliver to the cemetery, they do not set the marker, and they do not handle the cemetery office. At Texas Lonestar Monuments, nearly half of the labor and time in every monument is the installation itself. To set a monument properly takes a truck with a crane, lifting straps, lifting bars, setting compound, a concrete foundation, specialized tools, and the experience to know how to use them. It also takes the things that keep a crew on the road across Texas — tires, oil changes, insurance, and the wages of the people doing the work. If all we did was create a monument and ship it across the country, our prices would be lower too. We choose to do the whole job, from design through installation, because that is what a family deserves. Please give us a call for a custom quote and we will show you exactly what is included.
